Pack 145 & Troup 272 Scouts more than doubled their food drive results from last year with a total of 1,333 pounds of food collected from the extended neighborhood. So, a big thank you to all the scouts involved and to our friends in the neighborhood who willingly gave. A big thank you to the adults who help these short guys out. We all agree that we would love to have some of that energy! Even after collecting heavy bags and boxes off of porches, lugging it to cars, up the steps into the pantry, and then sorting it . . . they were bouncing off the walls! If you ever want a willing worker, find a Scout! If you want your kids to be willing workers, get them in Scouts! The investment made into these kids truly yields results now and in the future.
